The present territory of UAB”Paneriø terminalas” occupies 7.0 ha area with 7.2 thousand sq. m. indoor warehouses and 16.1 thousand sq. m. outdoor grounds. The company has all the facilities for reloading goods from vehicles, covered and open wagons, and freight containers up to 20 ton. Overhead cranes enable to accept cargoes of irregular sizes. The warehousing area is provided with the scales for weighing vehicles and 150 ton wagons, special loaders for unloading/loading paper rolls and round containers. Infrastructure of warehouses and roads and railway branch lines, enable migration of warehoused goods through customs warehouses and grounds. In the warehouses and grounds goods may be prepared for transportation, sorted, repacked. Written agreements between the customs warehouse owner and a person willing to have his goods stored in the customs warehouse are concluded on site or by fax.

An outdoor customs warehouse, in which any natural or legal entities of the Republic of Lithuania or foreign natural or legal entities, as well as other organisations can store non-Lithuanian goods, but the executor of the customs warehousing procedure is in all cases the customs warehousing owner.

Customs warehouses are open for any non-Lithuanian goods, without imposing import duties and taxes and any economic bans or restrictions, with the exception of the bans and restrictions defined in the Paragraph 2, Article 57 of the Customs Code.

Lithuanian goods may also be stored in the customs warehouse. Lithuanian goods, stored in the customs warehouse, are not subject to customs warehousing procedure. A person willing to place Lithuanian goods in the customs warehouse signs a written agreement with the warehouse owner.

Customs warehousing procedure is officially registered for the goods directly imported from abroad or temporarily stored (goods are transferred from the terminal), as well as at the completion by the established order of customs transit, temporary import, temporary import for processing or processing procedure under the customs inspection, as well as in other cases defined in the Customs Code.

Foreign natural or legal entity or other organisation, enabled to have the goods intended to be stored in the warehouse at its disposal, must sign a written agreement with the warehouse owner on the storage of goods in the customs warehouse.

Ordinary handling operations can be carried out in the customs warehouse: (operations, necessary to maintain the same condition of goods stored in the customs warehouse) TO 101 – TO 106, (operations for improving appearance or other characteristics of the goods) TO 201 – TO 207, (operations for preparing the goods for distribution or resale) TO 301 – TO 312.

When it is not possible to carry out usual goods handling operations within the warehouse, executor of the customs warehousing procedure can temporarily remove the goods from the customs warehouse.

Goods, subject to customs warehousing procedure, can be moved from one customs warehouse to the other. Goods may be stored in the warehouse for unlimited period of time, subject to the mutual agreement between the warehouse owner and a Person having the goods at his disposal.

Goods are accepted to the warehouse according to the following Combined Goods Nomenclature classification: section 07.11, 9, 10.6, 10.08, 12.04-12.07, 15.07-15.14, 16.04-16.05, 17.04, 1801-1802, 1805-1806, 19.05, 20, 21.01, 21.03, 22.01-22.02, 25-27, 31-35, 37-42, 43.03, 4304, 47-70, 72-92, 94-96, 98. Except: 2710.11.41-2710.11.59.0, 2710.19.41.1-2710.19.49.9, 2710.19.61.1-2710.19.69.1, 2710.19.99.1-2711.19.00.

Terminal accepts for storing any goods, imported, exported and/or transported by transit, irrespective to their quantity, country of their origin, as well as country, from which the goods were carried in and to which they are planned to be carried out.

Entities from the Republic of Lithuania and foreign countries can store imported, exported and/or transported by transit goods. Goods may be accumulated, stored, reloaded, supervised, as well as ordinary goods handling operations may be carried out, provided they do not change the form of the stored goods, goods packing may be improved, goods may be prepared for transportation (unloading, sorting, repacking), weighed, measured, examined, evaluated.

Goods accepted to temporary storing warehouse can be stored for 20 days for the longest. Storing time may be prolonged up to 180 days, but not longer than required under the existing circumstances.

The procedure of temporary goods warehousing is completed with: import procedures (realise for free circulation), temporary import for processing, customs warehousing (to place into A-type customs warehouse), customs supervised processing, transit procedures (applicable if imported goods are carried to the customs institution situated within the customs territory of the Republic of Lithuania).

Having executed the documents for goods realise from the warehouse for temporary goods storing, the goods must be removed from the warehouse within 24 hours.

Goods, stored in the above-mentioned warehouse, except for the goods exported or transported by transit, can be moved to the other terminal.

Customs brokers of the Company represent customers in declaring goods for all customs procedures, present freight accompanying documents for customs registration, carries out registration of permits, certificates in the customs house, annulment, reregistration of documents, preparation and presentation of appeals to the customs house, provide insurance services. There is always a customs officer in the Company’s office.

A special unit forwards and delivers customer’s freight to a place of destination by air, road, sea, and railway transport from all over the world. Every week, the unit carries out transportation of small/partial, irregular-sized cargoes from/to Western European partners’ terminals to the Baltic States, CIS countries.
